Very important work is happening here.
No distractions.
No small talk.
No adults allowed to “help.”
Just two engineers carefully designing… something we are not qualified to understand.
At the Elaine Clark Center, play is
the lesson. What might look like blocks on a floor to us is actually a powerful learning experience for our students — a chance to practice problem solving, fine motor skills, focus, social interaction, and independence.
These moments of hands-on exploration help build confidence one piece at a time. They allow children to test ideas, communicate with peers, and experience the joy of creating something entirely their own.
Why It Matters
Programs like this happen because our community shows up — supporting the classrooms, teachers, therapies, and materials that make meaningful learning possible for children of all abilities.
Thank you for helping us nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every student.
