A Day of Service That Transforms Our Campus
Every year, the Elaine Clark Center hosts the Day of Service—a special gathering where youth organizations, corporate groups, community leaders, advocates, athletes, and volunteers lend their time and skills to improve our school environment.
From spring gardening and painting to repairs and campus clean-up, these efforts make a visible, lasting difference for the children and young adults we serve. As a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, this event helps us redirect thousands of dollars back into student programs, therapies, and resources.
How Volunteers Make an Impact
The Day of Service isn’t just about projects—it’s about creating a space where students feel safe, cared for, and uplifted.
Volunteers help with tasks such as:
- Spring gardening and landscaping
- Classroom and hallway touch-ups
- Indoor and outdoor painting
- Light repairs and maintenance
- Organizing supplies and improving learning spaces
Every completed task strengthens the environment our students rely on every day.
