HOW TO HELP

Join Us in Empowering Children and Young Adults

The Elaine Clark Center relies on the generosity of families, neighbors, volunteers, donors, and community partners. When you get involved, you help ensure children and young adults with developmental disabilities receive the individualized care, education, and support they deserve. Every contribution—whether time, funds, or advocacy—helps sustain our mission and strengthen our community.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

Volunteers Are the Heart of Our Community

Volunteers at the Elaine Clark Center help create the inclusive, joyful environment our families rely on.

You can get involved through:

  • Yard & Garden Work: planting, landscaping, seasonal cleanups, playground re-mulching
  • Handyman Projects: light repairs, painting, assembling shelves or structures
  • General Support: room sponsorships, assisting with fundraisers, organizing donations, cleaning
  • Student Engagement: reading stories, rocking infants, sharing art, music, dance, or cultural traditions

You don’t need special training—just kindness, reliability, and a desire to brighten someone’s day. We welcome individuals as well as corporate, school, church, and civic groups looking for meaningful service opportunities tailored to their skills.

Hustle for Hope

Our annual community fundraiser that brings families, supporters, and advocates together to strengthen inclusive programs at the Elaine Clark Center. Participants unite around movement, community, and impact — all in support of children and young adults with special needs.

Day of Service

Every year, we host The Day of Service at Elaine Clark - a special opportunity for youth organizations, community leaders, advocates, volunteers, and athletes to come together and enhance our school environment for our children.
