Our Staff
The program at the Elaine Clark Center is staffed by up to 30 dedicated teachers and co-teachers.  But in addition to our teaching staff, the program has program administrative staff whose job is to support classroom teachers, therapists, and families in order for each child to reach his or her maximized potential.

Program Coordinator: Manages the childcare portion of the program, which includes State regulations as well as our NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accreditation.

Child Development Specialist: Manages the curriculum and therapeutic aspects of the program by working with children, teachers, therapists, the nurse as well as parents.  She conducts annual assessments and screenings for all children as well as supervising teachers in developing individual goals for children and adaptations needed in the curriculum. In addition she works closely with the therapy team to ensure therapeutic activities are implement in the classroom, and that the individual needs of each child are met.

Out of School Services Coordinator: Manages services that support children with special needs during non-school hours, such as respite programs, winter, spring, and summer break camps, and after-school programs. He conducts assessments and coordinates enrollment to ensure that each child is placed in the appropriate Out of School program.

Social Service Coordinator:
Manages the family aspect of our program.  She works with parents through the enrollment process, and then supports them throughout their time at the center by providing resource and referral when needed or case management if more in depth assistance is needed.

Nurse: Manages all aspects of health care issues for children at the center.  She works with classroom teachers and parents to ensure that the health needs of each child are met, as well as working with the therapy team to assure the physical conditions of children are considered when therapeutic activities are used.
