Fundraising
As a non-profit organization, The Elaine
Clark Center is able to continue its mission through the generosity of corporate
and private foundations and the support of individual donors. About 30% of
the center’s income
is generated by program fees.
With an aggressive development plan of grant writing, special
events, annual campaign and corporate sponsorship, the center is
able to maintain a $700,000 budget which supports the services
we offer to our children, family and community.
Each year, we hold a variety of fundraising efforts, including
a golf outing, auction, and an ever-evolving list of fun events.
But there are many other ways to contribute to our programs.
We have an affiliation with schoolpop.com, in which 2% of your
purchase amount comes to our center. We also have Kroger Commitment
cards, so that each time you scan it at Kroger, a portion of your
total bill is donated to the center. And we always welcome gifts
in kind, through which we receive many toys, office supplies, maintenance
and other necessities from our generous friends.
We invite everyone interested in helping us continue our mission
to tour our facility. For more information, or to arrange a tour,
please call 770.458.3251.
